Looking like an interesting design, just wish Yuri would hand it over to someone that can fly well for a decent demo video and to give it a real hard run...

 

Love the driveline on that thing! The beveled gears in that primary section would be hardened steel I should suspect.

 

I would hope it was hardened steel gears. From the video it does not appear if the pilot is really gunning it. I looked at the blade distance to the boom and i wonder if boom strike might be an issue. I like how the electronics, servo and motor are as compact and close to the head as possible. is allows for fast flip and turn - ie the helicopter should roll quite freely around the center. It looks to be unique.... i wonder how it flys. I love the design engineer to give me a 3 minute fly....
