Thank you guys Well yeah this wasn't exactly a legal thing to do ..... well this building is in an old mine. To get into the mine first I had to climb a huge hill with all my gears...I check the place on google earth but I wasn't expecting that....the view was shocking and terrifying.I found a spot where I can climb down
with my heli in my hand and 15kg stuff on my back to the first chamber. About 30-40m deep ...
My plan was to fly in the chambers but of course first I walked all around the place

Than I came across with this building and I couldn't resist
Unfortunately the noise draw some attention so 3 figures started approaching the building so I had to bail
There was a hole on the wall of the other side ... so I picked up everything in a blink and jumped and run for it ))

 

Hope it's not an asbestos factory

The first part of the question is very tricky to answer... I think unfortunately I'm not the right person to answer this. Probably my friends are
I really don't want to use big words here so I rather leave this opened if you don't mind
Simulator!!! a lot of sim. a good simulator can improve your flying to the next levels always
but be sure you are using a good one or you can pick up bad habits quick
I fly MSH helis since I was flying for 8 months. Since I've got my protos 500 I never owned any other brands.
The protos helis opened up many doors to me and they let me develop like no other brands would
I think the protos 700 has many more potential I didn't discover yet as I have very little time on it

I just got my first apprentice. He told me he can sym. I checked his KDS 450 Innova. Blades mounted upside down. One servo with plastic gears stripped after first attempt to take off. Radio setup fock*ed up right from factory.

I showed him what can be done on the sym. I demonstrated 700 in flight.

He admitted he can not sym yet. He will get spare parts. I want him to conversion to FBL and get TGY 306 servos at last with metal gears.

Lot of work to do. I am happy I can help him. My service is free of course. He wanted to pay me.

I just hope he will not be discouraged by first failures.

Talent is nice to have. Years of practice are essential. That is my point.

Probably I will let him fly my 700 soon using trainer cable. I will take off and land. He can fly 700 safety at high altitude. I plan to limit collective angles to be safe.

I will report progress in another thread.

Tomas you are modest. I would love to see you in tandem flight with Dunkan. You are at his skill level.
