You should have bought my old TDR about a month ago.. The guy I sold it to, sold it to someone else who was selling it for just $750 for the frame.. that's not much more than most new airframes..

Was a sweet heli - just sold it because I was scared each time i flew it with parts being hard to get..
TDR frames are going much cheaper 2nd hand now...

But I got a Suzi Janice and a Hensilite MPX-le to replace it with :) and still have to restore 2 Henseleit 3DNT's

I'd love to get a Hirobo Bell 47G one day...

But working on building a T-Rex700 Turbine with Wren 44 in it - yea baby!!!

Yes I have seen the TDRs fly. They are so smooth and powerful, the way they fly through the air. They roll on the spot without any difficulty and seem to be very agile. But it would appear that many people are too scared to smak them around because of the potential crash cost and difficulty in obtaining parts. If I could have the heli i wanted, it would be a tdr or banshee with cheap and easy to obtain parts.

If i was going for a speed heli the TDR would be the one, However the gobby speed is still not bad and fine for 3d aswell. Dependent on setup of course.. Would also be a lot less to fix and quicker to get parts for.

Following Justin on RCHeliNation he seems to be getting respectable speeds with an affordable setup. Seems like a good intro to speed helis.

I'd like to have a Blade 550X. Something a little bigger than my Align 500 I could share packs with my Goblin 700.

Man I ask meself this every day! I have a fair kit going towards a 700 of some fashion or another... I have a HeliJive 120A, a full size VBar 3X JR cyclic servos, and a BLS251... But alas I have no perfect heli in mind to add them too... I was thinking a DFC 700, but I have already had a 700 size Trex, I looked at the Logo 690SX, but I was commenting in a thread about it, and I realized, there are a ton of wankers that post in the Logo forums on HF, and I am sick of their chit:rolleyes:

So it leaves me wanting... I like the 7HV My buddy was a rep for Compass, and he let me fly his 7HV and it was sweet. I really like the Gaui helis I have now, but the X7 seems kinda clunky to me. Sure a TDR would be cool, but you have to find a used one...
